PauhuTerms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Pauhu services ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Pauhu provides language and marketing intelligence products:
- Translation API — Customer-deployed machine translation cascade with IATE terminology enforcement
- EU Data Feeds — Annotated data from 12 EU institutional sources (available at pauhu.eu)
- Strategy Briefs — Conversational AI for brand strategy and communications planning
- Pauhu AI Terminal — Web application for accessing Pauhu products (available at pauhu.ai)
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. One account per person or organization.
4. License Grant
Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for:
- Translation API: Internal and commercial translation within your organization
- Strategy Briefs: Internal use of generated documents
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its outputs to third parties as a competing service.
5. Customer-Deployed Software
The Translation API cascade runs on your infrastructure. You are responsible for your server environment, security, and compliance. Pauhu provides model files and metering software only.
6. Payment Terms
Translation API: Metered per character. Monthly billing in arrears. Volume commitments billed monthly in advance.
Data Feeds: Subscription billing per pauhu.eu terms.
All prices in EUR. VAT applied where required by EU law.
7. Intellectual Property
Pauhu retains all rights to the cascade software, models, and annotations. Your translation outputs and strategy briefs belong to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
Pauhu's liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
